I'm stoked to be sharing my first DIY on my new blog! Today it's DIY concrete planters I used on my Home Depot table top, you can see that post here. These planters are a fairly easy DIY that add a touch of industrial feel as well as lots of texture to a tablescape. These vessels can be used as planters, vases or even candle holders. Keep reading to see to find out how to create.
STEP 1: mix water and concrete a little at a time
STEP 2: Use the drill and mixing drill bit to mix. Adjust the amount water and concrete until the mix is about the consistency as cake mix.
STEP 3: pour a small amount into the larger paper cup.
STEP 4: Pour a small amount of mix into the smaller cup (for weight) and place in the larger cup.
STEP 5: Fill the larger cup almost to the top. Allow to dry and peel away cups.
